bah!

last thursday morning i woke up to my lovely mac mini (also known to us as "sugar", cuz it looks like a sugar cube) clicking and sputtering. knowing this had to do with the hard drive we immediatley started pulling everything from sugar and transferring to one of rob's machines. i spent the entire day doing this. meanwhile, deadlines were missed, our water was off due to municipal work on the street, and rob's mom flew into town for a long weekend visit. it was a long, hard day. by the end of the day i had 5 new pimples to show the world just how upset i was.

luckily sugar is still under warranty. her new drive is on order now and i should have her back in working order by thursday. i'm slowly catching up to my missed deadlines regardless of the chaos added to my weekend by having a house guest.

i really need to spend an entire day at the spa. sitting in hot water is exactly what i need right now. maybe next week....
